
Tony Bailetti(Executive Director Coral CEA) holds a tenured faculty appointment in both the Eric Sprott School of Business and the Department of Systems and Computer Engineering at Carleton University. Professor Bailetti has been the Director of Carleton’s Technology Innovation Management Program from 1998 to 2005 and from 2006 to 2007. His teaching and research interests are in commercialization of new technology. He is also the Director of Ontario’s Talent First Network. He was the Director of Carleton University's School of Business from 1981 to 1988 and worked at Bell-Northern Research (today a part of Nortel) from 1988 to 1992. Professor Bailetti has published in engineering management journals such as IEEE Transactions on Engineering Management, Journal of Product Innovation Management, Research Policy, and R&D Management. He has taught for the Executive M.B.A. program offered by Queen's University in Ottawa since 1996. In 1996 he won a Carleton University Teaching Award and in 2007 a Leadership Breakthrough Award.

Peter Carbone (Chair of the Board of Directors) is a successful executive known for his thought leadership, business acumen and technology leadership. He is often called on to address new business and technology challenges. He is a pathfinder with a track record of creating innovative solutions, strategically managing technology and innovation, successfully launching and running new businesses and business development. With more than 31 years of industry experience, holding CTO, R&D and senior business positions in several high tech companies, he has developed a reputation for providing valuable industry insights and perspectives to customers, employees and the market. Roles include: Chief Technology Officer, Chief Research Officer, General Manager for an emerging software business, VP R&D, VP Service Oriented Architecture and VP Corporate Strategy. Peter has been responsible for research and technical development required to support a rapidly evolving information and communication technology (ICT) marketplace and provides leadership and oversight on strategic projects and initiatives.

Bernard Courtois is President and CEO, Information Technology Association of Ontario and an outspoken advocate for the deployment of ICT tools to improve business productivity and to achieve our societal and public policy goals. Mr. Courtois was named ITAC's leader in January 2004. He is a lawyer with over 30 years experience in the telecommunications sector. He served in a variety of executive roles with Bell Ontario from 1991 to 2003, including those of Chief Regulatory Officer and Chief Strategy Officer. Prior to joining Bell Ontario, Mr. Courtois practiced law in Montreal and Ottawa serving a wide range of clients in telecommunications and other regulated industries. He was an active participant in the many regulatory, public policy and judicial proceedings which have shaped Ontario's competitive communications marketplace. He was Chief Strategy Officer when Bell Ontario took its strong turn to the Internet, ahead of most of its peers around the world. Mr. Courtois has served on the ITAC Board of Directors since 1999. He has also served on the executive of the Canadian Chamber of Commerce; was president of the International Institute of Communications; and is director and treasurer of the National Gallery of Ontario Foundation.

Mike Milinkovich is the Executive Director of the Eclipse Foundation, Inc., a not-for-profit corporation supporting the Eclipse open-source community and commercial ecosystem. Most recently while a vice president in Oracle’s Development Group, Mike led the Application Server Technical Services team, a group of highly technical experts whosupport Oracle’s application server strategic customers and partners. Prior to joining Oracle, Mike was with WebGain where he was Vice President of Worldwide Services and President of WebGain Ontario. Other experiences include: The Object People which did world wide technology consulting and training; Object Technology International where he held various roles in software engineering, product management and business development; and IBM, where Mike was responsible for world wide product marketing of a major IBM software product line and technical strategy for their Java tools product.

Peter Ricketts is Vice-President (Academic) and Provost at Carleton University. He has had a long and distinguished career in higher education, beginning at Saint Mary's University in Halifax. An expert in ocean and coastal management and strategic environmental assessment, he is widely published in academic journals and books, with research supported by grants from federal and provincial agencies. Prior to joining Carleton University, Dr. Ricketts was Vice-President (Academic and Research) and a Professor of Geography at Nipissing University, in North Bay, ON. Before that he was a Professor of Geography at the University of British Columbia Okanagan in Kelowna, BC. Dr. Ricketts also has extensive experience as a senior university administrator, having served as President of Okanagan University College (OUC) from 2004-05 and Vice-President, Academic of OUC from 2000-04. Prior to joining OUC, he was Dean of Graduate Studies at Dalhousie University (1995-2000) in Halifax, NS and was the first Director of Research at Saint Mary’s University (1989-1994), also in Halifax, NS. He earned a BA (Hons) from the University of Nottingham and a PhD from the University of Southampton.

Robert White is Vice President, Mergers and Acquisitions in IBM's Software Group. In this role he is responsible for the acquisition strategy, execution, and post-merger integration across IBM's Information Management and Business Process and Optimization segments. This includes responsibility for the post-merger integration of Ottawa based Cognos. IBM announced a definitive agreement to acquire Cognos on November 12, 2007 to accelerate its Information on Demand strategy, a cross-company initiative that combines IBM's strength in information integration, content and data management and business consulting services to unlock the business value of information. He is also the Director responsible for IBM’s software Labs in Ottawa, Montreal, and Victoria. He joined IBM in 1996 through IBM’s acquisition of Ottawa based Object Technology International Inc. where he was Chief Financial Officer and Chief Operating Officer. He has held executive and leadership positions across multiple disciplines at IBM. Robert holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Ottawa. He was admitted to membership of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Ontario in 1993 and to membership of the Society of Management Accountants of Ontario in 1994. Robert serves as a member of the finance committee for The Eclipse Foundation.
